Calle Nyström charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calle Nyström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Nyström to maneuver through the defense. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Casper Kleen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Mathias Ludvigsen kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Folke Bergqvist, made in the 15th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Mean Machine's Jan Ekenberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Keld Paulsen. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. 27 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mean Machine's Casper Kleen. Casper Kleen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mean Machine's Calle Nyström got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Calle Nyström off the ground. The supporters of Denmark booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Kleen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenn Skou, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Mean Machine defense, Bertram Svenningsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Kleen. The Mean Machine fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Kleen should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jan Ekenberg hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Kleen skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. Denmark's attentive Bertram Svenningsen managed to snatch the ball when Emanuel Stål made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Kleen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 57th minute. The supporters of Denmark booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kenn Skou fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Kenn Skou a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Kenn Skou hit a great ball. Lars Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casper Kleen came out and tried to block the shot, but Bertram Svenningsen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 77th minute. 80 minutes in the game Jonathan Sandström did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lars Frykberg. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Sandström made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lars Frykberg however managed to control. Casper Kleen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olav Graversen went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of Denmark booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Jonathan Sandström in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
