Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leonard Treppa made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kamal Pahlevi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Kamal Pahlevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Tirant lo Blanch's Leonard Treppa. But to his dismay, Leonard Treppa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 16th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kamal Pahlevi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 23 minutes Tirant lo Blanch's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten to fire away a dangerous shot which Kamal Pahlevi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kamal Pahlevi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tirant lo Blanch were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dabi Barba took the corner. The corner led Tirant lo Blanch's Dabi Barba to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kamal Pahlevi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Leonard Treppa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 41st match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dabi Barba to maneuver through the defense. Casper Claes stood somewhat misplaced when Leonard Treppa came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 43 minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Vanderstraeten to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kamal Pahlevi. The goal made the score 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Kamal Pahlevi in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Tirant lo Blanch:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Belgium:s goal. 67 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Kamal Pahlevi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute Leonard Treppa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Belgium's Yves Dervaux ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kamal Pahlevi. Kamal Pahlevi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Tirant lo Blanch's Carmen Paniagua was substituted for Leonard Treppa. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tirant lo Blanch fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Tirant lo Blanch:s Kamal Pahlevi showed great skill when he stopped Edward Vanderstraeten:s penalty. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute of the match Tirant lo Blanch got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dabi Barba ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 91 minutes of play, Tirant lo Blanch's Carmen Paniagua made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Claes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carmen Paniagua took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casper Claes. Casper Claes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. Tirant lo Blanch's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
