Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ren Fan Yu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bill Carmichael came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Topsail getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Santos Griffin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Topsail's Mikoláš Kulhánek got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Topsail's goalie prevented a goal. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Topsail's goalie prevented a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Topsail's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Raul Caetano got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Felipe Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Topsail were furious when Damião Portela was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Topsail:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Portugal:s goal. Topsail:s Bill Carmichael showed great skill when he stopped Felipe Barreto:s penalty. Bill Carmichael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Jano Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bill Carmichael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 43rd minute of play forced Topsail's goalkeeper Bill Carmichael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. Bill Carmichael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Bill Carmichael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes Topsail's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. In the 55thth minute of the game Viriato Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Topsail's Bill Carmichael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Topsail's Bill Carmichael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 58th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Bill Carmichael threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caetano Moreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the game, Caetano Moreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bill Carmichael. Caetano Moreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Goldsmith in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Santos Griffin made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Bill Carmichael was a little too slow when Felipinho Amorim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 3-4. Bill Carmichael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The throw-in from Mikoláš Kulhánek in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. 83 minutes into the match, Topsail's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill Carmichael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute of the game Mikoláš Kulhánek made a throw-in which Jano Maciel played forward. In the 94th minute, Bartolomeu Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-6. The Topsail fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Portugal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
