Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 18th minute of play. Sebastián Sosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Wilhelm Widberg hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 26th minute of the match. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caetano Moreira in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Sosa saved Vikingos FC from getting behind. In the 46th match minute, Vikingos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Widberg to maneuver through the defense. Sebastián Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Cantona to make the kick off. Bruno Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Viriato Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastián Sosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Sebastián Sosa made a huge save. In the 62nd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Sebastián Sosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 67th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Sosa had great luck who in the 71stth minute grab hold of the ball when Viriato Moura from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Cantona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Marco Cantona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Cantona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Marcelo Perico replaced Luciano Lleir. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Vikingos FC's Cirilo Botello was substituted for Guaberto Ongile. Vikingos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Felipinho Amorim scored to the left of an out of position Sebastián Sosa, making the score, 3-2. In the 85thth minute of the game Ladislao Erramu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastián Sosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute, Bartolomeu Dias fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sebastián Sosa, passed just outside the right post. Sebastián Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vikingos FC had won after a very even match.
