To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Liwocz Brzyska Kacper's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Mikolaj Rywin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Katona Janos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hungary! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Major Barna made the kick off in the second half. Dariusz Zachemski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
