Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Denny Ax kicked off to start the match. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holtland FC's Jaap Theuws played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 5th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaap Theuws made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Holtland FC's Jaap Theuws played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 12th minute of play. Hegedus Henrik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jaap Theuws tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap Theuws saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Holtland FC's Jan Jol got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Denny Ax's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denny Ax helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Holtland FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Denny Ax hit a great ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Jaap Theuws made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 29th minute of play. Wilco Schmidt hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Holtland FC's Denny Ax got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Takacs Tibor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaap Theuws. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Major Barna notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Holtland FC's Jaap Theuws. Jaap Theuws was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaap Theuws didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With his leg Jaap Theuws managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Hungary's Antal Valentin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 62 minutes of play, Holtland FC's Peter van Aalderen made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Holtland FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Han Kort hit a great ball. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaap Theuws having to make a save. After 68 minutes, Major Barna made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Holtland FC's Jaap Theuws tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 71 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaap Theuws was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jaap Theuws. Jaap Theuws yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. The supporters of Hungary booed when Holtland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menno van der Doelen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes Holtland FC got a freekick which was hit by Han Kort. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when Holtland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menno van der Doelen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Menno van der Doelen fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holtland FC's protests and gave Menno van der Doelen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when Holtland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menno van der Doelen didn't get a good kick on the ball.
