A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Jack Saunders put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nilton Marinho. Nilton Marinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wincenty Kochowski went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Nilton Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Lara in the 18th minute of the match. Nilton Marinho didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Lugano's Jack Saunders shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. When Sydney Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Brasil F.C.'s protests and gave Sydney Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Lugano booed when Real Brasil F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Real Brasil F.C. booed when FC Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Saunders didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Nepomuk Schyder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Rosado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Godo Gøl made a huge save. After 42 minutes of play, FC Lugano's Fred Lara made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilton Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Guilherme Galvão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nepomuk Schyder in the 54th minute of play forced Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper Nilton Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilton Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Lara in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Real Brasil F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fred Lara came free, but Nilton Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godo Gøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Rosado in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Jack Saunders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Lugano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Brasil F.C. the free kick. FC Lugano's Igor Linares was substituted for Zhao Le Sen. FC Lugano's Jakub Waselenczuk was substituted for Benoit Ritieni. Nilton Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jakub Waselenczuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lugano's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakub Waselenczuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Real Brasil F.C. defense, Jakub Waselenczuk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilton Marinho. The Real Brasil F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilton Marinho should have stopped the shot. Jack Saunders came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nilton Marinho could save by the left post. With his leg Nilton Marinho managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when FC Lugano's Fred Lara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
