New Loser FC's Jailson de Queirós quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Osmar Falcão, made in the 5th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Capixaba in the 6th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Célio Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Célio Queirós. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Rosa during the 55th minute. Abel da Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel da Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in New Loser FC's zone, Fernandinho Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Maranhense came out of the goal and Fernandinho Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Queirós in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95thth minute of the game Pedro Luís Capixaba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Loser FC's Cláudio Maranhense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulopolis's Chico Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Although Paulopolis had been in control for most of the match, New Loser FC still came away with the win.
