In the 13th minute of the match, Simão da Silveira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferdinando Sanna saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chivasso F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zé Paulo de Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Brasil F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Real Brasil F.C.'s corner Zé Paulo de Azevedo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ferdinando Sanna quite easily take care of the ball. Nilton Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Di Giovanni in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the game, Fellipe do Nascimento landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Felice Casiraghi fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chivasso F.C.'s protests and gave Felice Casiraghi a yellow card for diving instead. Real Brasil F.C.'s Fabrício Borges was substituted for Fellipe do Nascimento. 21 minutes into the match, Chivasso F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Simão da Silveira came free, but Ferdinando Sanna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carlo Corna fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chivasso F.C.'s protests and gave Carlo Corna a yellow card for diving instead. Real Brasil F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Di Giovanni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 43 minutes of play, Chivasso F.C.'s Dario Di Giovanni made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilton Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simão da Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferdinando Sanna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 59th match minute, Chivasso F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Bolli to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Simão da Silveira notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Chivasso F.C.'s Ferdinando Sanna. Ferdinando Sanna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Simão da Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinando Sanna was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Dario Di Giovanni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Nilton Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Di Giovanni in the 89th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Real Brasil F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chivasso F.C.:s goal. Nilton Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Di Giovanni, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chivasso F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
