Capo de Provincia's Omar Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Paraibano in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute Aldo Casos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Casos hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Aldo Casos came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Capo de Provincia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Casos couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Célio Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Loser FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Célio Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Zamora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldo Casos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cláudio Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. New Loser FC's Cláudio Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Casos in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Capo de Provincia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Cumsille to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Célio Queirós made the kick off in the second half. Fiori Paraibano took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Zamora. Omar Zamora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Fiori Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Omar Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton Quirino struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Omar Zamora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Loser FC. Aldo Casos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cláudio Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Aldo Casos sent off a good shot on target. Aírton Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aldo Casos took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cláudio Maranhense. Cláudio Maranhense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cláudio Maranhense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aldo Casos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 76 minute of play. Aldo Casos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Cláudio Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Maranhense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Casos in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
