Toninho Tande ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute, Alejandro Txindoki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes, Toninho Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Cristo Rei and the Gaita´s club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Atlético Cristo Rei's Leo Jardim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Mitxel in the 54th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Maurinho Couto rounded Gaita´s club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Cristo Rei's zone, Alvaro Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Jardim came out of the goal and Alvaro Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th match minute, Gaita´s club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Marcones to maneuver through the defense. Toninho Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Gelmiro during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santiago Gelmiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Leo Jardim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
