The audience thought a goal was coming when Aírton Quirino got free with Paulo Mattos in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jailson de Senna made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Itajaí Football Club got a freekick which was hit by André Piovezan. In the 55th minute, Gildo Corrêa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Loser FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
