The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Lopes got free with Marcus Silva in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Moura got a freekick which was hit by Lino Peres. After 42 minutes Moura's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudio Barrionuevo who took care of the corner kick. Los Espinillos FC's Jimeno Gumaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chico Pinho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Gumaro in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerônimo Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Los Espinillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Quirino came free, but Marcus Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Moura were awarded a corner. Jerônimo Queirós went to the cornerflag to take it. Augusto Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Claudio Barrionuevo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimeno Gumaro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Chico Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Espinillos FC. The Moura supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Espinillos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Espinillos FC.
