Ong Sum's late challenge caught a ELPORVE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ong Sum helped the player get up and apologised. ELPORVE made a substitution. Modesto Ibañez replaced Nicolas Sarracino. In the 28th minute Faizal Mathews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Cresconio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faizal Mathews, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 苏州觅香足球俱乐部's Sait Gündeş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Ibañez in the 35th minute of play. After 39 played minutes ELPORVE got a freekick which was hit by Lico Diaz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Dariusz Wielopolski hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Ryan Politiek fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 苏州觅香足球俱乐部's protests and gave Ryan Politiek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Ryan Politiek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st match minute, 苏州觅香足球俱乐部 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Politiek to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ELPORVE had played much better football throughout.
