An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Emeterio in the 10th minute of play forced Los Espinillos FC's goalkeeper Marcus Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Emeterio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Funebrero FC booed when Los Espinillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zula Munko didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Emeterio in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Silva saved Los Espinillos FC from getting behind. Marcus Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kara-Murat Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Galsino came free, but Nestor Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Los Espinillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Emeterio came free, but Marcus Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Los Espinillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Eleder. Claudio Barrionuevo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Barrionuevo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Los Espinillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Barrionuevo to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Emeterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Los Espinillos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Silva should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Gumaro came free, but Nestor Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Elias Emeterio sped through Los Espinillos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Silva. If Elias Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Funebrero FC's Benigno Claus managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Benedicto Ruy in the 40 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Los Espinillos FC's zone, Kara-Murat Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Silva came out of the goal and Kara-Murat Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th match minute, Funebrero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piarres Cabredo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Funebrero FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jimeno Gumaro made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Funebrero FC booed when Los Espinillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Lizardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Lizardi might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Lizardi ran back to his position shaking his head. Los Espinillos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Aaron Lizardi scored to the left of an out of position Marcus Silva, making the score, 0-3. Nestor Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Munko in the 64th minute of play. Armando Bastia hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Marcus Silva was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from German Tallia. In the 72nd minute, Aaron Lizardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Nestor Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Janpier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Lizardi got free with Marcus Silva in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th match minute, Funebrero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piarres Cabredo to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Funebrero FC got a corner. Los Espinillos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. German Tallia ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 92nd play minute Elias Emeterio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcus Silva. 0-5. 95 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Janpier came free, but Nestor Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kara-Murat Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
