Slavey Dochevski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Omurtag Púrvulov sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Blue avalanche defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Slavey Dochevski. The Blue avalanche fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Slavey Dochevski should have stopped the shot. Vladislav Serdarov kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slavey Dochevski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Netherlands's Lars Meesters looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Slavey Dochevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 18th minute of play. Stanislav Búlgarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. In the 25thth minute of the game Stanislav Búlgarov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blue avalanche's Slavey Dochevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 31st minute of play. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slavey Dochevski having to interfere. Blue avalanche's Slavey Dochevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 36th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Egbert Nijveldt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Slavey Dochevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slavey Dochevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Blue avalanche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delyan Partinov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanislav Búlgarov got free with Arnout Reekers in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omurtag Púrvulov in the 53rd minute of play. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blue avalanche's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Slavey Dochevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Bas Tuitert got a free kick in the 64th minute. Wim Wilmes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Slavey Dochevski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Slavey Dochevski could save by the left post. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delyan Partinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Slavey Dochevski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Slavey Dochevski made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when David Eikelkamp sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Búlgarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
