Paolo Herensuge kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Cipriano Belarmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FMArgentina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
