An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Brzakala in the 13th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 14th minute of play forced Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cosâmbescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Hugon Brzakala sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Spain's Adria Bielsa fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Aranda's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Adria Bielsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Cosâmbescu having to interfere. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 34th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Santiago Sartori with David Aranda as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

Gocław Wilga Warszawa made a substitution. Dobromir Juchno replaced Hugon Brzakala. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. Maciej Matela kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Adria Bielsa came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Spain fans jumped to their feet. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
