Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Viriato Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 8th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fausto Agüero ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Zula Turek heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 13th minute of the game Fabricio Andrade made a throw-in which Viriato Moura played forward. 18 minutes into the match, Graciano Coutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Janpier. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Graciano Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fabricio Andrade hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ildefonso Foro went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's attentive Enzo Cope managed to snatch the ball when Fabricio Andrade made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute Todd Gronow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Ildefonso Foro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Foro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute of the game Fabricio Andrade made a throw-in which Bruno Bastos played forward. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fausto Agüero took the corner. 61 minutes into the game, Todd Gronow cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Foro came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abelardo Janpier, 2-2. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Andreas Harlén was substituted for Zula Turek. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Melquiades Lastur was substituted for Inaki Mirabal. Felipinho Amorim didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-3 via right post in the game's 76th minute. Portugal's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Abelardo Janpier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipinho Amorim's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Todd Gronow scored 3-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Abelardo Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mao Yan Yong fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's protests and gave Mao Yan Yong a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Mao Yan Yong hit a great ball. Abelardo Janpier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipinho Amorim's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Abelardo Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 95th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
