A sloppy throw-in by Jeremey De Messemaecker in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. Eliseo Cutri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willem-Jan Hollanders having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Willem-Jan Hollanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Vranken, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tim Vranken who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Tran Milters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 20 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willem-Jan Hollanders narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Willem-Jan Hollanders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goalkeeper Willem-Jan Hollanders, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Willem-Jan Hollanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Vranken in the 31st minute of play. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Bryan Creemers. But to his dismay, Bryan Creemers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gomberto Picozzi lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute, Tim Vranken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les Bistouquettes Bleues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 56th minute of the match, Siricio Liotta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thananiti Cheewawipat in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Les Bistouquettes Bleues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tran Milters to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Porziano Marchitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Siricio Liotta hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Willem-Jan Hollanders got control of the ball when Guiscardo Davide tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Italy's Willem-Jan Hollanders threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Siricio Liotta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
