Labbeville's Stéphane Lozano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Mauzer in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Labbeville booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damir Pongrac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Labbeville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Croatia the free kick. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilija Skugor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, Gildas Dutto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot. Labbeville were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Croatia for a fine match.
