Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Periklis Zorbadelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Evaggelos Keratakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantinos Caballeiro made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Babbis Markatos however managed to control. In the 35th minute, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bjarne Kirkegaard the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Denmark protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bjarne Kirkegaard had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 35 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bjarne Kirkegaard. Iason Dimitratos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Konstantinos Caballeiro made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Babbis Markatos however managed to control.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Notis Bartzokas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Ludvigsen to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Iason Dimitratos came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Notis Bartzokas in the 63rd minute of play. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaggelos Keratakis in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Gerasimos Iakovatos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Mikkel Wulff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Lars Steen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Horses the free kick. In the 89th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Marcelo Txindoki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen skillfully saved the ball. Evaggelos Keratakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gerasimos Iakovatos fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Horses's protests and gave Gerasimos Iakovatos a yellow card for diving instead. Gerasimos Iakovatos hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Denmark were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
