Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sven-Ove Tillman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio Guimarães in the 12th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes FC Bors got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Håkansson. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Guimarães came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Christer Åkesson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. 20 minutes into the game, one of FC Bors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th match minute, FC Bors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, FC Bors's Luiz Fábio Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Giöck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. Martin Giöck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olav Graversen in the 37th minute of play. When Chris Nygaard fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Chris Nygaard a yellow card for diving instead. Chris Nygaard hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Keld Paulsen stood somewhat misplaced when Sven-Ove Tillman came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 47 minute. The FC Bors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Denmark were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. Gert Stenkvist struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bors. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bors's goalkeeper Martin Giöck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chris Nygaard might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Giöck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chris Nygaard ran back to his position shaking his head. Luiz Fábio Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Martin Giöck made a huge save. Denmark's Olav Graversen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christer Åkesson, made in the 68th minute of the game. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Giöck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Luiz Fábio Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Bors's Magne Ek was substituted for Sven-Ove Tillman. After having played for 81 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Gert Stenkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bors's Luiz Fábio Guimarães. But to his dismay, Luiz Fábio Guimarães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Magne Ek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Magne Ek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christer Åkesson made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Theis Winther.
