With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Giöck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fábio Guimarães's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christer Åkesson, made in the 24th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Mathias Ludvigsen got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Evert Wennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Bertram Svenningsen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martin Giöck saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Giöck saved FC Bors from getting behind. In the 53rd minute of the match Denmark got a corner. FC Bors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Christer Åkesson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Luiz Fábio Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarne Kirkegaard to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Bors's Christer Åkesson got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to FC Bors getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Christer Åkesson hit a great ball. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fábio Guimarães took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Keld Paulsen. Denmark's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Giöck having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Bors defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Giöck. The FC Bors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Giöck should have stopped the shot. In the 89thth minute of the game Magne Ek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Christer Åkesson in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Theis Winther. A collision led to FC Bors getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Guimarães hit a great ball.
