An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 22nd minute of play forced Club atlético boca junior's goalkeeper Damaso Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Erramun's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Erramun helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Hungary a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. Club atlético boca junior's Damaso Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club atlético boca junior's Marciano Alvarez got a free kick in the 39th minute. Damaso Monico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute of the match, Mateo Hori tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fodor Daniel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Damaso Monico came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

After 53 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. Balazs Lajos in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damaso Monico, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Antal Valentin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Monico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Club atlético boca junior's Damaso Monico got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
