Artur Van Caels might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timur Meleshko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Van Caels ran back to his position shaking his head. U21 Belarus's attentive Sergey Bishkevich managed to snatch the ball when Octavio Segio made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. A collision led to U21 Belarus getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Andrey Fedotov hit a great ball. U21 Belarus's Timur Meleshko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Herensuge in the 93rd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
