Luiz Fabiano Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Bastos came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. Germany's Linus Schwerner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Elpidio Mendebal in the 44 minute of the game. In the 45th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Arantes having to interfere. Durvalino Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leripe Lifestyle.
