The audience was convinced that Godfried Teunens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Humberto Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balazs Lajos in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godfried Teunens made a kick off. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Bichineta made a substitution. Eliseo Iigo replaced Godfried Teunens. In the 66th minute, Szekeres Tamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Bichineta's José Ignacio Fernández was substituted for Vennard Rojak. Szekeres Tamas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Bichineta's goalkeeper Humberto Salomone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 minutes La Bichineta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Salomone having to interfere. In the 80th minute Eliseo Iigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Poncio Justo was slow to take the kick. During this time La Bichineta's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Dorival de Azevedo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 85th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goalkeeper Humberto Salomone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. La Bichineta were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
