The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Higgins should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Jerome Harrison lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Alexander Higgins. Armando Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Alexander Higgins acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Celestino Maura. Robert McNeill hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Armando Abeijon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexander Higgins came out and tried to block the shot, but Armando Abeijon slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 23rd minute. Alexander Higgins was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jerome Harrison showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 30 minute of play. Jerome Harrison's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Alexander Higgins skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 36th minute, Atlético Paz Sanford's Armando Abeijon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. Cayetano Estefan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jerome Harrisons short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Alexander Higgins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alexander Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Abeijon went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Jerome Harrison didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 9-0 via right post in the game's 46th minute. Atlético Paz Sanford's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zac O'Donnell made a kick off. Armando Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jerome Harrison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Paz Sanford's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerome Harrison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Higgins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonatan Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Alexander Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerome Harrison went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 15-0 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Jerome Harrison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Paz Sanford fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. A collision led to Scotland getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ashton Nelson hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes, Atlético Paz Sanford's Celestino Maura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexander Higgins came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Paz Sanford reached it. After some careless play in the Scotland defense, Jerome Harrison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins.
