To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Pistol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. In the 30thth minute of the game Luisito Pistol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Pistol in the 32nd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilian Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, France's Frank Peletier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilian Bueno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Maxime Durand managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when ARS FUTEBOL's Luisito Pistol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 38 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Bruneau. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisito Pistol's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Pistol got free with Maxime Durand in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Alexis Bruneau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilian Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Dupuy in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Peletier to strike the kick off in the second half. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Pistol in the 56th minute of the match. Wilian Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Luisito Pistol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisito Pistol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 62 minutes, Luisito Pistol made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. France's Maxime Durand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Dudu de Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxime Durand was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 75 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Pistol came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When ARS FUTEBOL's Luisito Pistol in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu de Queiroz in the 95th minute of play. France's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
