Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jari Alenius kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, NAGANO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Vellito Alguerdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Pimentel in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vellito Alguerdo saved NAGANO F.C from getting behind. Jari Alenius scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10thth minute of the game Jari Alenius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vellito Alguerdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 11 minutes into the match, NAGANO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Vellito Alguerdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vellito Alguerdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vellito Alguerdo came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Alenius in the 23rd minute of play. Jari Alenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vellito Alguerdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vellito Alguerdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Alenius in the 32nd minute of the match. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vellito Alguerdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Alenius in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vellito Alguerdo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vellito Alguerdo. NAGANO F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. NAGANO F.C's Thorbjörn Hong quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bruno Bastos, made in the 43rd minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jari Alenius went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Clodoveo Weather was slow to take the kick. During this time NAGANO F.C's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Thorbjörn Hong managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vellito Alguerdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Vellito Alguerdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. NAGANO F.C's Gabriel Batistuta was substituted for Jari Alenius. NAGANO F.C's Clodoveo Weather quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodolfo Miranda, made in the 79th minute of the game. NAGANO F.C's Vellito Alguerdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, NAGANO F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felipinho Amorim fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Batistuta came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. NAGANO F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Portugal for a fine match.
