Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevin Arnolds made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Kevin Arnolds who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Germany booed when Bierunese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bram Sandstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Bierunese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Arnolds to maneuver through the defense.
