After 18 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. In the 21st minute, Kauan Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Kauan Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 65 minutes, Kauan Santos made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Lopez in the 90th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Wanderson Lopez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
