Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dietbald Munderloh started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Real Piazza 1982's Nestor Cardozo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Nestor Cardozo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 12th minute Peter Larsfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Mariotti. Real Piazza 1982's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 19th minute, David Eikelkamp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Mariotti was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Cardozo in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Real Piazza 1982's Alfredo Mariotti. Alfredo Mariotti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nestor Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Alfredo Mariotti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Mariotti. Alfredo Mariotti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Alfredo Mariotti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Alfredo Mariotti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 37th minute of play. The corner led to Netherlands's David Eikelkamp getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The Real Piazza 1982 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. When Netherlands's Wim Wilmes in 52 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alfredo Mariotti guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Alfredo Mariotti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Lars Meesters notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Real Piazza 1982's Alfredo Mariotti. Wim Wilmes came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfredo Mariotti could save by the left post. Real Piazza 1982's Alfredo Mariotti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Alfredo Mariotti in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 88 in the game by Wim Wilmes from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Mariotti managed to make a qualified save. Real Piazza 1982's players were relieved. 89 minutes into the match, Real Piazza 1982's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Alfredo Mariotti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Mariotti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. When Egbert Nijveldt fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Egbert Nijveldt a yellow card for diving instead. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Piazza 1982 throughout the match.
