Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ysidro Briones started the match with the kick off. Leonel Montt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Mac Intyre, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goal looked a bit too open when José Ignacio Berguecio came free, but Leonel Montt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Mac Intyre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferrán Sarratea charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferrán Sarratea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Ballet Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferrán Sarratea to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Ysidro Briones recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mónico Queirolo. Ysidro Briones showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Esquerra came free, but Leonel Montt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Ballet Azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Lorie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, José Ignacio Berguecio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CRUZ DEL SUR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ferrán Sarratea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Mónico Queirolo made a huge save. Leonel Montt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Ignacio Berguecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mónico Queirolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Lanchares in the 54th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes CRUZ DEL SUR got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Tirado. Mónico Queirolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ysidro Briones in the 63rd minute of play. Ballet Azul's Leonel Montt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ballet Azul from getting a goal against them. After 68 minutes, Reynaldo Farren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballet Azul and the CRUZ DEL SUR players grew even worse after the yellow card. CRUZ DEL SUR made a substitution. Juan Manuel Vlahovic replaced Godofredo Mac Intyre. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ballet Azul! When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Abdul Esquerra took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Leonel Montt to make any attempt to save it. Victorio Lorie hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Marcelino Friederichs's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonel Montt firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Ferrán Sarratea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Montt came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by CRUZ DEL SUR's Juan Manuel Vlahovic. But to his dismay, Juan Manuel Vlahovic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Leonel Montt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Ignacio Berguecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CRUZ DEL SUR played a much better game than Ballet Azul and deserved their victory. The Ballet Azul players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
