Jacinto Cross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Mac Intyre, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. José Francisco Maffey charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 97th minute, Godofredo Mac Intyre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Cross was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. There was no doubt that CRUZ DEL SUR were the better team. CRUZ DEL SUR's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
