In the 2nd minute, FSX UNITED's Emmanuel From dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Saint Sophia's Julio Oxman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Mariano Walker in the 5th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Araube's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Oxman was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Julio Oxman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel From in the 13th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Emmanuel From cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Julio Oxman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the match, Saint Sophia's goalkeeper Julio Oxman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Araube. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Rondizzoni during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leopoldo Rondizzoni hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Julio Oxman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Araube, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Saint Sophia's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Araube came free, but Julio Oxman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Saint Sophia's Leopoldo Rondizzoni got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Celedonio Araube had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Saint Sophia's Julio Oxman got control of the ball when Celedonio Araube tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celedonio Araube had several of the Saint Sophia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Julio Oxman as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 38th minute, Celedonio Araube made a precise shot to the right of Julio Oxman. Saint Sophia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Johnny Herrera kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. FSX UNITED's Enrique Mariano Walker got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Julio Oxman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Araube in the 53rd minute of play forced Saint Sophia's goalkeeper Julio Oxman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toni Zegers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Oxman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute Celedonio Araube shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Oxman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Sophia's zone, Emmanuel From stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Oxman came out of the goal and Emmanuel From tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Oxman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel From, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Celedonio Araube scored 7-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Oxman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saint Sophia's Julio Oxman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Araube in the 70th minute of play. Florinio Daniels struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Oxman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FSX UNITED. Johnny Herrera charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnny Herrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Saint Sophia's Johnny Herrera got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute, Leopoldo Rondizzoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celedonio Araube took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Oxman. Julio Oxman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Julio Oxman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Araube in the 82nd minute of play. Saint Sophia's Johnny Herrera got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Johnny Herrera off the ground. After 84 played minutes Saint Sophia got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Herrera. In the 85th minute Celedonio Araube shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Oxman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Emmanuel From made a precise shot to the right of Julio Oxman. Saint Sophia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Celedonio Araube sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FSX UNITED had played much better football throughout.
