FSX UNITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talcampeón FC the free kick. Salomone Berna hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cosme Mella hit a great ball. Emmanuel From struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jacinto Cross didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FSX UNITED. When Bernardino Payten fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talcampeón FC's protests and gave Bernardino Payten a yellow card for diving instead. FSX UNITED's Laurín Lamb couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Talcampeón FC. In the 22nd minute, Soriano Olavarrieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes, Adán Tejo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FSX UNITED and the Talcampeón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Talcampeón FC's Justino Laferte threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernán Parga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th minute Enrique Mariano Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Cross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Celedonio Araube notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Talcampeón FC's Jacinto Cross. Jacinto Cross was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 35 played minutes Talcampeón FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Payten. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. José Francisco Maffey hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Sandro Asenjo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Adán Tejo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Cross skillfully saved the ball. After the first half FSX UNITED were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celedonio Araube stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when FSX UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soriano Olavarrieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. FSX UNITED's Justino Laferte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Mella in the 59th minute of play. Jacinto Cross made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Enrique Mariano Walker sent off a good shot on target. Adán Tejo got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, FSX UNITED's Adán Tejo got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Cosme Mella shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Laferte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jose Miguel Echeandía hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, FSX UNITED's Laurín Lamb tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Cosme Mella hit a great ball. Celedonio Araube might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Cross. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celedonio Araube ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, José Francisco Maffey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, Alfonso Lastra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Justino Laferte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacinto Cross made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Araube in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FSX UNITED had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
