Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Osvaldo Gorostiaga took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Martino Goyenechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Oxman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Martino Goyenechea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martino Goyenechea in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Oxman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Martino Goyenechea made a precise shot to the right of Julio Oxman. Saint Sophia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Julio Oxman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Valenzuela went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Baez FC's zone, Leopoldo Rondizzoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Taylor came out of the goal and Leopoldo Rondizzoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miren Wilshaw kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play, Baez FC's Maurín Dagnino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Oxman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Oxman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martino Goyenechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurín Dagnino in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Oxman saved Saint Sophia from getting behind. 55 minutes into the game, Rainerio Amezquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saint Sophia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baez FC the free kick. The supporters of Baez FC booed when Saint Sophia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rainerio Amezquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Saint Sophia's goal looked a bit too open when Maurilio Mendoza came free, but Julio Oxman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Baez FC booed when Saint Sophia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rainerio Amezquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Oxman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurín Dagnino, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Saint Sophia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maurino Verschueren 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. In the 75th match minute, Saint Sophia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rainerio Amezquita to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Saint Sophia booed when Baez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurino Verschueren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Villalón got free with Julio Oxman in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severino Taylor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baez FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
