Dionisio Costa was a little too slow when Mannuel Cofquecura got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Mannuel Cofquecura could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Dionisio Costa however easily saved by the left post. In the 23rd minute, Mannuel Cofquecura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionisio Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 30th minute, Simón Chavez made a precise shot to the right of Dionisio Costa. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Dionisio Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Pino, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A hard shot by Ursino Cabero from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Dionisio Costa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 46 minutes into the game, Roldán Botello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zorros del Desierto the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baraquiel Jungejohan made a kick off. If Saturnino Albrecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simón Chavez to maneuver through the defense. Luchito Fuentes's late challenge caught a PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luchito Fuentes helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC got a freekick which was hit by Pacífico Bueno. Dionisio Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Albrecht in the 61st minute of the match. Dionisio Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Pino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Camilo Pino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
