A beautiful save bye Ballet Azul's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Laurín Grebe got control of the ball when Ysidro Briones tried to sneak it across the goal line. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's José Francisco Guzmán got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Ballet Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Lanchares to maneuver through the defense. José Francisco Guzmán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Montt having to interfere. Leonel Montt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Floto in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, one of Ballet Azul:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SICARIOS Fútbol Club a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Américo Magnani, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ballet Azul's Leonel Montt. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Floto in the 34th minute of play forced Ballet Azul's goalkeeper Leonel Montt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes SICARIOS Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by José Francisco Guzmán. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Américo Magnani during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laurín Grebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ysidro Briones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricart Lauwerens got free with Leonel Montt in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Regino Novajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ballet Azul's Horacio Lanchares got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Laurín Grebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ysidro Briones in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Ysidro Briones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Ezmundo Urenda in the 70th minute really tested Leonel Montt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Floto came free, but Leonel Montt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Américo Magnani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Montt having to interfere. Ysidro Briones took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurín Grebe. Laurín Grebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezmundo Urenda during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 89 minutes into the match, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ysidro Briones came free, but Laurín Grebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Floto got free with Leonel Montt in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Many of SICARIOS Fútbol Club's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SICARIOS Fútbol Club may have spent more time on the ball, but Ballet Azul were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
