Talcampeón FC's Jacinto Cross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Zarricueta in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Talcampeón FC's zone, Pío Thomas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Cross came out of the goal and Pío Thomas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 minutes, Angelo Palacios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SICARIOS Fútbol Club and the Talcampeón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, SICARIOS Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Palacios to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Andrés Villaseñor hit a great ball. The supporters of SICARIOS Fútbol Club booed when Talcampeón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naelio Marx didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Talcampeón FC's zone, Sergio Floto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Cross came out of the goal and Sergio Floto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Floto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Cross having to interfere. If Américo Magnani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Zarricueta came free, but Jacinto Cross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Talcampeón FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Sergio Floto scored to the left of an out of position Jacinto Cross, making the score, 1-0. Ricart Lauwerens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jacinto Cross made a huge save. Ricart Lauwerens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Jacinto Cross when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 38th minute, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Ricart Lauwerens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 41 minutes of play, Talcampeón FC's Andrés Villaseñor made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurín Grebe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacinto Cross was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Ricart Lauwerens capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricart Lauwerens really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricart Lauwerens to strike the kick off in the second half. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Laurín Grebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save SICARIOS Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. Laurín Grebe was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Nestor Barria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nestor Barria really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Naelio Marx kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Américo Magnani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacinto Cross. Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Severiano Hasche hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Pío Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Cross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, Talcampeón FC's Andrés Villaseñor made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurín Grebe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sergio Floto hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The supporters of SICARIOS Fútbol Club booed when Talcampeón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernán Parga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talcampeón FC's Jacinto Cross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Floto in the 78th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Barria came free, but Laurín Grebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Talcampeón FC got a freekick which was hit by Ángel Soruco. In the 95th minute of the match Américo Magnani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Cross skillfully saved the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Sergio Floto notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of Talcampeón FC's Jacinto Cross. Jacinto Cross was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Talcampeón FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SICARIOS Fútbol Club.
