Maurín Dagnino walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Val Mac Millan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurino Verschueren's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When Gonzalo Perl came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Magallanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Perl couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Martino Goyenechea took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Val Mac Millan to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Baez FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Martino Goyenechea hit a great ball. Severino Taylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Izaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerónimo Brito in the 39th minute of play forced Baez FC's goalkeeper Severino Taylor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gerónimo Brito came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Magallanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerónimo Brito couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Baez FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerónimo Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. When Maurino Verschueren came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Baez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurino Verschueren couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Adriano Couve had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Val Mac Millan. Magallanes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Couve was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Axel Unquera hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Magallanes's Gerónimo Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Taylor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Val Mac Millan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Couve's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Gonzalo Perl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Magallanes's Severino Taylor threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gerónimo Brito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gerardo Villalón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Val Mac Millan having to interfere. Martino Goyenechea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Couve came free, but Val Mac Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Magallanes players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Baez FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
