An unexpectedly hard shot by Simón Chavez in the 2nd minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Pedro Tomás Domimisse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Tomás Domimisse was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saturnino Albrecht showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luchito Fuentes to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Albrecht did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Pedro Tomás Domimisse 12 minutes into the match. Saturnino Albrechts short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Pedro Tomás Domimisse to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the game, Saturnino Albrecht was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zorros del Desierto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altermundi FC the free kick. A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Saturnino Albrecht hit a great ball. Pedro Tomás Domimisse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Albrecht in the 21st minute of play. Zorros del Desierto's Saturnino Albrecht was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Altermundi FC's Pedro Tomás Domimisse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Altermundi FC from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Saturnino Albrecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Tomás Domimisse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes, Agustín Arriagada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altermundi FC and the Zorros del Desierto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Agustín Arriagada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorros del Desierto's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Albrecht was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Tomás Domimisse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Albrecht made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Saturnino Albrecht ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Tomás Domimisse was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 56thth minute of the game Saturnino Albrecht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altermundi FC's Pedro Tomás Domimisse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Altermundi FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Agustín Arriagada hit a great ball. Saturnino Albrecht took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Tomás Domimisse. Pedro Tomás Domimisse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 63 minutes, Saturnino Albrecht made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Altermundi FC's Pedro Tomás Domimisse tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Tomás Domimisse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Albrecht in the 68th minute of the match. Julio Huaiquiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Abelardo Escerza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mannuel Cofquecura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Pérez to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 81 minutes, Liberto Chalco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altermundi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liberto Chalco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Altermundi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Arriagada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Barroso to maneuver through the defense. Liberto Chalco took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Escerza. Abelardo Escerza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Pedro Tomás Domimisse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Albrecht, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Zorros del Desierto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
