The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when FSX UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FSX UNITED's Odín Reole got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Zorros del Desierto's Rodrigo Pérez took a good shot, in the 4th minute, which hit the crossbar above Justino Laferte's head, and flew over the goal. FSX UNITED's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Zorros del Desierto. Mannuel Cofquecura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romano Milan in the 13th minute of play forced FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Justino Laferte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romano Milan scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justino Laferte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zorros del Desierto's Rodrigo Pérez got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Vladimiro Barroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jasone Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliano Escuti in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Albrecht to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Pinto got free with Jasone Ovando in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Narciso Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasone Ovando having to interfere. Justino Laferte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mannuel Cofquecura went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 87 played minutes FSX UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Soriano Olavarrieta. When Rodrigo Pérez came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Zorros del Desierto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Pérez couldn't finish the play. Justino Laferte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darien Mantilla in the 91st minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the FSX UNITED players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zorros del Desierto.
