Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sergio Floto got the match started through his kick off. C.A. Peñarol's Samuel Benavente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Labra in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes, Savier Marsal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Peñarol and the SICARIOS Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Savier Marsal kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Arnau Bacquet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Benavente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Benavente acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Américo Magnani. After 11 played minutes, C.A. Peñarol's Ramon María Cortés shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valerio Azaola came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. Peñarol reached it. With a little luck, C.A. Peñarol's Samuel Benavente got control of the ball when Arnau Bacquet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuel Benavente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricart Lauwerens in the 19th minute of the match. Viviano Amenábar kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Américo Magnani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Magnani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of C.A. Peñarol booed when SICARIOS Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezmundo Urenda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricart Lauwerens's late challenge caught a C.A. Peñarol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricart Lauwerens helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A. Peñarol booed when SICARIOS Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricart Lauwerens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Albert Cancino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerio Azaola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, one of C.A. Peñarol:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Samuel Benavente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Américo Magnani went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A hard shot 46 in the game by Arnau Bacquet from a close distance when the talented Samuel Benavente managed to make a qualified save. C.A. Peñarol's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrico Abeliuk to make the kick off. Samuel Benavente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Larreta in the 51st minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Albert Cancino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnau Bacquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Samuel Benavente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Benavente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnau Bacquet in the 65th minute of play. Maxi López hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. C.A. Peñarol's Samuel Benavente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnau Bacquet in the 70th minute of play. Américo Magnani took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Benavente. Samuel Benavente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Arnau Bacquet managed to get in a good position for a shot. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnau Bacquet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Benavente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th match minute, C.A. Peñarol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxi López to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Floto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 minutes, Sergio Floto made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Peñarol's Samuel Benavente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 93 played minutes C.A. Peñarol got a freekick which was hit by Timeteo Amthauer. Valerio Azaola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timeteo Amthauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. C.A. Peñarol's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
