After having played for 48 minutes, Laurín Lamb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSX UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurín Lamb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Barria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Nestor Barria notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FSX UNITED's Justino Laferte. The FSX UNITED fans cheered their team off the field, for while Talcampeón FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
