The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hermelando Irizar came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Baez FC's Maurino Verschueren. But to his dismay, Maurino Verschueren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute of the match, Martino Goyenechea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hermelando Irizar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Abelado Sobarzo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baez FC's protests and gave Abelado Sobarzo a yellow card for diving instead. 25 minutes into the game, Sherlock Holmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Severino Taylor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severino Taylor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincente Felice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Taylor came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Snorlax FC's Sherlock Holmes. But to his dismay, Sherlock Holmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Snorlax FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sherlock Holmes hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sherlock Holmes made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sherlock Holmes came free, but Severino Taylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's Tor Viveros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Taylor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincente Felice in the 63rd minute of play forced Baez FC's goalkeeper Severino Taylor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Nicoletti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Severino Taylor made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sherlock Holmes in the 70th minute of play forced Baez FC's goalkeeper Severino Taylor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Sherlock Holmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Taylor. Baez FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sherlock Holmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Baez FC's Severino Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sherlock Holmes in the 86th minute of play. Conan Blasi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Maurino Verschueren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Snorlax FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
