Kong Jian Ling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Eladio Escalona made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Barrabases de Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Martínez came free, but Juan Alberto Allende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bror Din received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kong Jian Ling might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eladio Escalona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kong Jian Ling ran back to his position shaking his head. Eladio Escalona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kong Jian Ling in the 66th minute of the match. Eladio Escalona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kong Jian Ling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, Carlitos Caszely dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Alberto Allende, 1-2. Barrabases de Victoria made a substitution. Emerson Sheikh replaced Bror Din. Barrabases de Victoria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Rubén Martínez scored to the left of an out of position Juan Alberto Allende, making the score, 1-3. Juan Alberto Allende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubén Martínez in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colo-Colo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
