Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Papazisis in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicodemo Recalde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, VILLANUEVA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ni Zhen Feng came free, but Nicodemo Recalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Florentino Almarza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodemo Recalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VILLANUEVA FC's Nicodemo Recalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thalis Papazisis in the 31st minute of play. Nicodemo Recalde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ni Zhen Feng in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Thalis Papazisis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicodemo Recalde was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Ni Zhen Feng notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of VILLANUEVA FC's Nicodemo Recalde. Nicodemo Recalde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicodemo Recalde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Papazisis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Horacio Jesus Carvallo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Marcel Blanco sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

But to his dismay, Thalis Papazisis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 70th minute of the match Germán Seisdedos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horacio Jesus Carvallo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ni Zhen Feng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nicodemo Recalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Xacobo Barroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VILLANUEVA FC and the Baez FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Xacobo Barroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicodemo Recalde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ni Zhen Feng in the 75th minute. VILLANUEVA FC's Nicodemo Recalde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save VILLANUEVA FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of VILLANUEVA FC booed when Baez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baez FC played a much better game than VILLANUEVA FC and deserved their victory. The VILLANUEVA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
